Dare Devil Baby!

Josie loves speed and movement and has always loved the wind in her hair; driving with all the windows down is always a good time for her! On Saturday evening, Curt went to the Brewer's game so I went to the Greek Fest with my family. Jodi escorted Josie on some rides...which she loved! They went on the carousel, the big slide, and then the spinning swings. I was a little worried how she would be on the swings but she had NO fear, as soon as it started spinning she was grinning and loving the sensations. We have a roller coaster baby....Great America here we come (in 8 years when she's tall enough!).
The other highlights of the fest was the corn on the cob; Josie loves it. And the music was fun; she started dancing several times. Of course when we found the fishing game, we had to give Josie a try...she caught one and won a baseball bat!

Zoo Trip

On Monday I had a meeting at school so Josie went back to Papa's house for the day. He took Josie and my nieces to zoo. Unexpectedly, I got done 3 hours earlier than planned so I was able to join them for the fun. Josie LOVED the pony ride, she waved to all the other people as we went by and on the carousel she just smiled and screamed from the movement. Great memories!

Happy 90th Grandpa & 4 Generations

Today was my Grandpa's 90th birthday so in addition to Father's Day we celebrated his birthday with cake and presents!
And then we took an opportunity to get a 4 generation picture
My mom, Josie, myself, and grandpa!

Next A Team Soccer Girl

My niece Karley made the A team for soccer this past week! Hopefully this will open the door for many more opportunities for her with her athletics. We are extremely proud of her and now she has Josie in training too!

Father's Day = Curt + Josie Love

Happy Father's Day to one of the best daddy's out there who's always willing to play and help with Josie at any time! Josie and I walked to Speedway this morning while Curt slept in and we "made" him breakfast in bed...doughnuts! Then we went to church and spent the day at my parent's for a Father's Day Celebration (4 dads there). We spent the whole day outside playing and swimming and biking. Josie suprised Curt with a bike wagon for father/daughter bike rides. Josie LOVED it but LOATHED the helmet. Oh well baby's got to wear it to go bike riding. Hopefully she adjusts to it because when it was time to go bye-bye she climbed right in ready to go but then came the bike helmet! She fell asleep on her first bike ride!

Cake for Papa Karley and Makenzie's cookie for their daddy

This past Saturday Pick n' Save had decorate cookie cakes or mini cakes for Father's Day. So myself, Josie, and my nieces decided to go do this for all the dads in the family. They had fun and worked really well together and Josie made a mess all over her and me but enjoyed it as well.

Blue Harbor in Sheboygan

This past Saturday and Sunday we spent the weekend in Sheboygan at the Blue Harbor Resort. IT WAS AMAZING...WE FELT LIKE WE WENT AWAY ON VACATIONS...BUT IT WAS RELAXING AND CLOSE!
We went up for Curt's cousin Dan's wedding to Kate. It was gorgeous and Josie's first wedding.
But beyond that we walked along the riverwalk to look in the shops, eat gourmet popcorn, walked along the pier, played in the waterpark, ate delicious meals, sat by the lake for a bit, and enjoyed being together on a mini vacation. Because it was close Josie did great in the car...hopefully the airplane in a few weeks will go just as well. Enjoy the picture overload!

Playing in the Sand Dunes-- Can You Believe How Amazing The Resort Is?!?!!

A Walk Out the Pier
