The Lazy River

This weekend we spent two days in Wisconsin Dells at Chula Vista. We rented a golf villa with my entire family and spent the weekend playing in the pool and of course I snuck in a trip to the outlet mall and a casino while Josie was sleeping. One of Josie's favorite things was the Lazy River; here are a few of us cruising down the river. Only bad thing was the water was too cold!

A Valentine's Gift

Karley had to help her get the paper tearing started but then she went to town opening her Valentine's gift, piece by piece by piece. But she loves her ball popper so much!

In Honor of Love Week...

Love week, Valentine's and our wedding anniversary, was this past week. In honor of that, Josie wore hearts everyday for a week! Only one of these things was a Valentine's outfit, the rest...lots of outfits with hearts; guess that's easy to do when you have an adorable little girl!

P.S. Can you tell which pictures are taken with our new camera vs. our old? To me there is a huge difference, to Curt not so much! Hopefully you can see one?!?!

2 Years for Curt and I

Today we are celebrating our two year wedding anniversary. I am shocked to think that amazing day was already two years ago, it doesn't feel that long ago but so much good has happened to us in the past two years and Curt makes it easy to be married. The altar flowers were ordered in honor of our wedding anniversary at church so we took a picture with Josie after the service. When I woke up this moring and went into the kitchen to prepare the bottles for the day, there were flowers and a card from Curt. I actually walked right past it and didn't notice for like five minutes! Tomorrow night, Curt and I are going on a date to Best Buy to buy a new camera and then dinner at Claim Jumpers. Thanks everyone for the messages and calls wishing us a happy anniversary.

10 Months

Josie Rose turned 10 months old over the weekend. She had quite a month.
She is saying muma to me usually when she wants something or is following me

around. She can find me on a picture too. She says dada but not always just for

Curt so I know in the next few weeks that will be down too. She is laughing or heckling

all the time now and smiles quite a bit too. She is coming out of her scared of everybody

that's not her mommy stage but she reserves herself and her smiles with new people still.

Over the weekend she took 4 steps, then a bunch of 2 or 3 step walks, a 6 step walk and not

so much on Monday. Josie moved into a "big girl" carseat which she has really been enjoying. She can see so much more out the car now, some of the times we don't even need the nuk in her mouth because she is so content. She is eating baby food 3 still but experimenting with everything that we have in way tiny tidbits because I need to get my mand wrapped around that. She has her two teeth on the botoom and two on the top that you can see under the skin.

So much to say about her! She is loved by us so much and so many others. We are lucky to have her and thank God everynight when we say our prayers with her.

Another Milestone!

Enough hair and thick enough hair to wear hairclips!! Ha Ha!

Gymbo Gym

Tonight we met up with our new friend Sofie! She was adopted by our friend Tina and today we got to play with her at Gymbo Gym; a fun place for little ones. Our gym teacher from school and his two boys met us there too. Josie loved the boys! Sofie is 3 weeks older than Josie and the boys are 3 days younger and a year older. So a great active crew. Then we followed up the open gym play with swim lessons; think she'll sleep through the night?!?!?
