Did the Blog End???

This week Curt asked me so I guess we're done with the blog...??? Why I asked? And he said because you never put anything on there anymore! He's right, I don't, I haven't .... we don't have a lot to share right now! This is what's been going on in the past month....

1. Curt started back to school on Wednesday nights
2. Jaime is a nervous nut about being pregnant and Curt has to deal with her irrational fears--that's kind of been a theme through the whole thing though; usually though after a day I move...I get these weird ideas in my head about squishing the baby when bending or sitting down too hard. I blame the extreme paranoia on the hormones???
3. We finally picked a color to paint Chiquita's room... that will be a fun post in a few weeks
4. Several open houses/viewings on the condo but no news there

That's it! You can see it's been uneventful in our house! By 9:30 last night we were both tucked in bed and snoring away! We'll Curt was because I heard him but I don't know if I was!

A Root Canal for Jaime

Yesterday I had my first root canal ever.... and it was not bad at all! You only hear the bad stories I guess but this was just like a cavity just a little longer. I did have my IPOD with and turned up high so I didn't have to listen though. I was scared and nervous going into it; not because of having dental work done but because of being pregnant. But Curt's brother Paul, who is an x-ray tech, made me feel better about having to get a few digital xrays done yesterday and people off of Facebook, who were pregnant and had dental work done with anethstetia in the last part of their pregnancy made me feel better too about going in...
No pain so far; just a little tenderness if I clench my jaw down on that side so I have the Tylenol ready but I don't even think I will need that!

No News is Good News....

But boring!! Curt and I don't have much to report in the past couple of weeks. Just back to school and the day to day chores. We've celebrated a few birthdays with the families, went on a movie date night, and have been relaxing on the couch a lot during the past few cold days.

We're Back and With Some Fish!!

Curt and I spent an extended New Year's weekend with his family in Escanaba... Curt was able to go out fishing at least once a day so that was great fun for him!
Here he is playing kissy face with his fish on Friday night; just being silly...
Curt and his dad showing off their fish. Between the three fishermen they caught 9 walleye and 3 perch that were "keepers". So we have plenty of fish to share if anyone is interested! This is the official yooper icefisherman hat of da U.P.! He's what I call a "keeper"in that hat!
